Yvette's Bridal Formal
Comments: This website is...unique, to say the least, but I find it interesting as a piece of "web art". To make a long story short, it was created by a schizophrenic (I believe) relative of the owner, who just let him do his thing because "they mostly do physical business and don't have much need for a website" (loosely quoted from an old Reddit post, I'll link it when I find it). It has dozens of subpages, showcasing art, poetry, and more. It all feels so sincere. I truly hope it never goes down.

Comments: An utterly fascinating look into game development. This website compiles unused content for thousands of games, as well as anti-piracy, glitches, prototypes, and general oddities. Give your favorite game a look sometime, you might learn something new!
Pokemon Showdown
Comments: Pokemon Showdown is the official Pokemon battle simulator for the Smogon organization, who aim to make competitive Pokemon accessible to everyone. It's extremely pick-up-and-play, and it caters to anyone of any skill level at Pokemon battling, as well as hosting a multitude of other metagames for when you want to switch things up. Give it a shot!

Comments: Photopea is a completely free alternative to Adobe Photoshop that works entirely in your browser. Need I say more?
Pokerogue
Comments: Pokerogue is a browser-based Pokemon fangame that adapts the traditional Pokemon battling system to the roguelike formula. It's very hard, so don't be discouraged, but I promise you it's a whole lot of fun. (More comments coming soon.)
Yokai.com
Comments: Yokai.com is a completely ad-free encyclopedia of Japanese cryptids, ghost stories, and other supernatural phenomena and terms. Every entry has a gorgeous woodblock-style illustration accompanying it, most of them unique, and background and etymological information is provided with them. I believe this is one of the best websites if you want to know more about yokai, and almost certainly one of the most beginner-friendly. My only complaint is that the entries are on the shorter side. But I say to that "All the more reason to do more looking"! What I'm trying to say is, this website accomplishes every single thing it sets out to do, which is exceptionally rare. 10/10.
